Refund policy
Reports that fail or land on the wrong vehicle are regenerated or refunded, and dealer plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Here's the process.

1. Single reports and report packs
MRGN VENTURES LTD trading as VehicleFaults sells one-off vehicle fault reports and 3-report packs. If a report fails to generate, arrives blank, or is clearly for the wrong vehicle, email us and we will regenerate it or refund it in full.
Because a report is delivered instantly, we ask that you check it as soon as it arrives. Unused reports in a pack can be refunded pro rata within 30 days of purchase.
A report tells you what to inspect on that model · it is not a physical inspection or a warranty, so we cannot refund on the basis that a fault it listed did not turn out to be present on your particular car, or that a fault it did not list later appeared.
2. Dealer plans · 30-day money-back guarantee
Dealer subscriptions carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. If the product isn't right for your dealership, request a full refund within 30 days of your order date · no explanation needed.
This applies to your first payment on a plan. Renewal payments can also be refunded within the same window from the date of that renewal charge, at our discretion and in line with the process below.
3. Who processes refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
That means refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer, and typically takes 3–10 business days to appear once approved.
4. How to request a refund
- Visit paddle.net, enter the email address you used at checkout, and request a refund on the relevant order · this is the fastest route.
- Or email us at team@vehiclefaults.com with your order or invoice number and we'll arrange it with Paddle for you.
- You can also reply to the receipt email Paddle sent you after your purchase.
5. Dealer trial and cancellation
The dealer trial takes a card but is not charged during the trial. Cancel before it ends in Settings or the billing portal and no payment is taken, so no refund is needed.
Cancelling a paid plan stops future charges and keeps your access until the end of the period you've already paid for. Cancelling on its own does not issue a refund · request one using the steps above if you want your last payment back.
6. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights, including any consumer right to cancel a distance contract. UK and EU consumers can also refer to Paddle's own refund terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.
7. Questions
If anything is unclear, or a refund hasn't arrived when you expected it, email team@vehiclefaults.com and we'll chase it with Paddle on your behalf.
Questions about this policy? Email hello@vehiclefaults.com and we'll come back to you.
